The association is a non-profit organization and aims to promote the pursuit of high-quality activities of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, oral surgeons and dentists. The association fulfills this purpose in particular by promoting the teaching and research of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, oral surgeons and dentists, facilitating communication and interdisciplinary research between oral and maxillofacial surgeons, oral surgeons, dentists and related disciplines, taking on training, further education and information tasks and organizing conferences, specialist events and symposia, as well as cooperating with other societies, companies and institutions in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, oral surgeons and dentists.
