Raising public awareness of the extended role that identity plays in the context of the human experience, the meaning and purpose of digital identity in an increasingly lived-in digital space, and the importance of recognizing individuals' digital identity rights as human rights, inspired by the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights; and Developing and operating an infrastructure, called the Registry, aimed at demonstrating how every individual can, under the fundamental human rights to which they are entitled, exercise ownership and control over their digital identity, and providing, as a public service, a transparent means of validating identity.
