The acquisition, holding, control, management and development of intellectual property rights and licenses, and a portfolio of patents and/or other intellectual property rights of any nature, in particular related to the use of robotics and other flexible surgery tools, in Switzerland and abroad; Furthermore, the holding of participations, in any form, in Swiss or foreign companies, and any other form of investment, acquisition by purchase, subscription or other means, as well as the disposal by purchase, exchange or other means, of securities of any type and the management, control and development of such portfolio. The Branch may also provide guarantees, make loans, or assist in any other way companies in which it holds a direct or indirect participation, or which form part of the same group of companies as the Branch. The Branch carries out any commercial, industrial or financial activity that it deems useful for the achievement of the aforementioned objectives.
