The main objective of the association is to reduce inequalities in access to basic medical care for children and to combat the spread of oral diseases and their consequences, as well as to develop initiatives to support the most disadvantaged. To this end, the association pursues the following objectives in Cameroon (and other countries of the Global South): 1. Promoting education at national and international level. 2. Supporting innovation, research and education in the field of dentistry through the use of digital tools and by initiating or supporting corresponding activities. 3. Additionally, and in order to finance the above-mentioned activities in the long term, a dental clinic is being established according to European medical standards. 4. The association Caring Dentists in Switzerland supports the objectives of the association in Cameroon and similar associations in Cameroon and other countries of the global South, and ensures that the financial resources are used as intended.
