The Association aims to support people in precarious situations and combat phenomena of poverty, malnutrition, loneliness, exclusion, stigmatization, and discrimination. It seeks to provide a place in the public space for people in precarious situations and open up access to cultural and artistic activities. The Association also aims to contribute to building a desirable future, both from the perspective of social justice and the preservation of the environment and biodiversity. To this end, it limits its environmental impact as much as possible and promotes social and solidarity-based economy. To achieve this goal, L'Indispensable operates the café-restaurant space of the Solidarity Association and transfers to it, to the extent possible and according to its means, the generated profits. The association also develops: A meeting and trading space, solidarity-based and open to all, in the form of a café-restaurant, offering a suspended drinks and meals system allowing to offer drinks and meals to others; An atmosphere of openness and solidarity, conducive to emancipation; Participatory activities, cultural, literary, festive, or artistic, including people with limited access to art and self-expression; whether due to their life path or systemic invisibilization they suffer from, for example, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, capacitism. Collaborations with other associations and institutions in the search for sustainable, common, and solidarity-based solutions. It can serve as a platform for meetings between associations and institutions, particularly in exchanges on social justice, sustainability, and social and solidarity-based economy.
