The goals of the ASRLS are as follows: a) To promote French Sign Language (LSF) as a full-fledged language and to value Deaf culture b) To facilitate better inclusion of Deaf and hard of hearing people in the Romandy society c) To offer services and performances adapted to the specific needs of the Deaf and hard of hearing community in Romandy d) To establish a strong and collaborative regional network with other associations and organizations working in the field of deafness e) To coordinate actions and amplify the impact of initiatives in favor of Deaf and hard of hearing people f) To ensure greater visibility and representation of Deaf and hard of hearing people in Romandy.
