AstroScopY, fondation de l'Observatoire Astronomique & Environnemental du Balcon Jurassien

The foundation aims to create and manage an astronomical and atmospheric observatory in the Jura region, promote astronomy and atmospheric analysis (air quality and climate change) in the region, organize public evenings, introductory courses for schoolchildren, training for amateur astronomers, provide high-quality equipment to regional astronomers through affiliated clubs, participate as a partner in national and international research and development projects in the relevant fields, popularize and promote scientific tourism, and organize conferences and workshops (for a complete purpose, see the foundation deed).
