Management and use of foundation assets and income to promote the manufacture and distribution of good and affordable footwear and related products in all parts of the world, mainly through the industrial group founded by Thomas Bata, hereinafter referred to as Bata Shoe Organization (BSO), by providing financial support to individual companies pursuing this goal, research, personnel training, etc., as well as to promote scientific, cultural, educational, artistic and philanthropic enterprises and activities, in particular in Switzerland, in the broadest sense in all their possible forms.
