Bedag Informatik AG

Bedag Informatik AG provides IT services primarily for the benefit of the Canton of Bern, adhering to market economy principles. These services can also be provided to third-party customers, particularly public entities at the federal, cantonal, and municipal levels. The company is authorized to conduct all business transactions that serve its purpose, including acquiring and disposing of real estate, raising and investing funds on the money and capital markets, founding and selling companies, participating in companies, or collaborating with third parties in other ways. The Government Council of the Canton of Bern may stipulate that Bedag Informatik AG has the exclusive right to provide certain ICT basic services (Article 32, Paragraph 1, Letter a of the Digital Administration Act of March 7, 2023) for the cantonal authorities in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 2 of the Digital Administration Act.
