The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and participate in other companies. The company is authorized to acquire, encumber, sell and manage real estate in Switzerland and abroad. Furthermore, the company may conduct all business and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote or facilitate the development of the company and the achievement of its purpose, or that are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose. The company may grant direct or indirect loans and other financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries, as well as to third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, and provide security of any kind for the obligations of such companies, including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether remunerated or not.
