The company's purpose is to acquire, manage, exploit and sell direct and indirect participations in, as well as to finance, companies in Switzerland and abroad, in particular securities and similar financial instruments, including private equity financing and financing through the provision of mezzanine capital or debt capital. The company may acquire, hold, manage, administer, encumber, exploit, rent, lease, develop and sell foreign real estate. The company may engage in all activities that are connected with the provision of these services and are associated with and beneficial to them. It may establish branches and subsidiaries and participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, and furthermore carry out all commercial, financial and other legal transactions that are related to the company's purpose or serve it. The company may grant loans and other direct or indirect financing to its direct and indirect subsidiaries and third parties, including its direct and indirect shareholders and the direct and indirect subsidiaries of these shareholders, in particular within the framework of cash pooling agreements, and provide security for the obligations of these parties, also by pledging or transferring assets of the company in trust, or by guarantees of any kind, regardless of whether they are remunerated or not.
