The foundation pursues the following purpose: a) Support of mountain farmers. It provides financial contributions to Swiss mountain farmers in the Inner Swiss cantons of Uri, Schwyz, Ob- and Nidwalden, Glarus for buildings, infrastructure, education of children, young people and adults; b) Support of the needy and sick/disabled. It provides support payments to health-damaged, impoverished or poorly endowed Swiss citizens in Switzerland, both for living expenses and for medical or other treatment, for medicines, medical and orthopedic aids, walkers and other needs; c) Support of projects related to nature and environmental protection in the Inner Swiss cantons as mentioned in lit. a) above, as well as Lucerne, Aargau and Zurich d) Support and realization of tax-exempt health and old-age facilities. It provides financial contributions to tax-exempt health, hospital, care and old-age facilities, participates in them or realizes them. e) The services are described in more detail in a regulation and are limited in time and amount. The foundation can participate in other companies within the framework of its purpose, establish further foundations, grant loans, acquire, rent, encumber and sell properties, and furthermore carry out all legal transactions that the purpose of the foundation may entail.
