The sole purpose of the branch is to hold participations in foreign group companies assigned to the branch by the head office, i.e. foreign companies directly or indirectly connected to the head office, or any other assets assigned to the branch by the head office. The branch may also reinvest capital and/or other assets it receives from its participations in other group companies as needed. The branch may not pledge or dispose of assets in any way without the explicit consent of the board of directors of the head office.
