The purpose of the company is to hold participations. The company may participate in other companies, establish branches in Switzerland and abroad, and acquire, hold and sell real estate. Furthermore, the company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect partner companies and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, with or without consideration, enter into indemnification agreements or subordination agreements in favor of such companies, and provide security of any kind for the liabilities of such other companies, with or without consideration, including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or by way of guarantees of any kind.
