To offer and guarantee its members good quality housing at advantageous prices. The cooperative aims to achieve this purpose by: a) purchasing land in ownership or in the form of superficies; b) building residential houses. Its dwellings are rented out, taking into account the following priorities (Art. 8 DFE Ordinance): c) to employees of the federal administration, Swisscom, Post, FFS and RUAG; d) to employees of organizations affiliated with the Public Pension Fund; e) to pensioners of the companies and organizations mentioned in paragraphs c) and d); f) to all interested parties. The rents are commensurate with the management costs (Art. 2 DFE Ordinance). For federal employees, in accordance with Art. 4 of the DFE Ordinance, account must be taken of the possible reduction in interest on the Confederation's mortgage.
