to promote the creation of housing cooperatives, in particular through the purchase, construction, management, rental and leasing of all real estate; for this purpose, it intervenes and acts with the relevant third parties (public authorities and administrations, real estate professionals, property owners, credit institutions) in order to identify and reserve land that could allow the realization of rental housing buildings held by housing cooperatives in the form of superficies, and to stimulate and facilitate the realization of housing cooperative projects; to ensure the management, whenever and to the extent necessary, of the setting up of operations and the creation of subsidiary housing cooperative companies; the company does not pursue any profit-making purpose and any speculative operation, as well as any operation that does not include housing operated in cooperative form, is excluded; the company will ensure that the housing cooperatives thus created become members of the Groupement des coopératives d'habitation genevoises (GCHG), do not pursue any profit-making purpose, pursue a public interest purpose, rent housing to their sole cooperators at fair conditions, refrain from transforming into condominium ownership any operation carried out with the support of the State or on land sold or made available in superficies by a public authority, and undertake to submit their statutes to the GCHG and to respect the provisions contained in the GCHG's Ethical Charter.
