The company's purpose is to acquire participations in other Swiss or foreign companies, to buy, sell and manage participation titles, licenses, patents and any other rights, as well as to provide financial advice in these areas, all except for operations prohibited by the LFAIE. The company has the power to take interests in any form in all enterprises or companies with an identical or analogous purpose, or which are likely to promote its social purpose, by creating new companies or enterprises, contributions, subscriptions, purchases of titles and participations or social rights, or by merger or association. The company may also buy, sell, register and exploit intangible assets in Switzerland and abroad, including patents, rights attached to patents and trademarks, as well as the acquisition and sale of licenses related to such rights. The company may, on its own account or on behalf of third parties, carry out all financial, commercial, industrial, movable and immovable transactions directly or indirectly related to its purpose, except for operations subject to the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners. The company may also grant loans or any other form of financing, as well as provide guarantees of any kind, in particular in the form of guarantees, pledges or securities on the company's assets, for the direct or indirect benefit of companies of the same group, its shareholders, its close associates or third parties. Finally, the company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad.
