The company's purpose is the purchase, sale, and management of shareholdings in all types of companies, in Switzerland and abroad, with the exception of operations prohibited by the LFAIE. The company may also engage in any other activity directly or indirectly related to these purposes; it may, in particular, create branches in Switzerland and abroad, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, acquire companies with identical or similar purposes, or merge with such companies, carry out all operations and conclude all contracts suitable for developing and extending its purpose or directly or indirectly related thereto. It may also grant loans or guarantees to its shareholders or to third parties if this promotes its interests, act as a guarantor for loans taken out by its shareholders or third parties, guarantee its loans by issuing or pledging mortgage securities or by subscribing to any other financial commitment.
