FIBA Europe Regional Office

The association is a continental non-governmental organization that works for the practice of basketball and is responsible for organizing competitions in the European Zone; the association has in particular the purpose of: acting as the Regional Office of the International Basketball Federation for the European continent and, as such, executing in accordance with the General Statutes of the International Basketball Federation, the decisions taken by the bodies of the European Zone; providing support and technical assistance to the member federations of the European Zone; supervising the application of the regulations and rules of the International Basketball Federation to competitions organized in the European Zone; opposing any political, racial or religious discrimination within the framework of the activities of the European Zone (for complete purpose see statutes).
