to provide the Société d'Emulation de Couvet with the necessary resources to maintain and develop artistic, cultural and intellectual life in Couvet and the surrounding region, particularly to organize its annual lecture series, as well as its theatrical and musical season; to support other activities in the field of arts and culture beyond those of the Société d'Emulation de Couvet. The foundation is managed by a foundation board consisting of at least 5 members, one of whom is appointed by Edouard Dubied & Co S.A. in Couvet, while the others are designated by the Société d'Emulation de Couvet.
