The foundation's purposes are to promote and support the development of motorcycling at the international level and the interests of the international motorcycling community, and in particular but not exclusively to promote and support: a) the development of programs, projects, and research for the preservation of the physical and psychological integrity, safety, and health of riders and motorcycle users and other individuals involved in motorcycling; b) the respect of fair competition rules in motorcycle sports, particularly through education and training programs; c) the development of education and training programs for officials, volunteers, and other stakeholders responsible for organizing and managing motorcycle events; d) the development of infrastructure and/or road safety and mobility programs for riders and motorcycle users, and raising awareness among competent authorities of the problems faced by motorcyclists; e) the development of programs, projects, and research aimed at reducing the environmental impact of motorcycle sports and motorcycling and improving the sustainability of these activities; f) the development of the practice of motorcycle sports and leisure activities by women and improving their integration and career development in sports structures at the local, regional, national, and international levels; g) the development of projects related to motorcycling in the fields of education and culture, particularly the preservation and enhancement of archives and the social, cultural, and historical heritage of the FIM and motorcycling, notably but not exclusively through the creation and maintenance of a motorcycle museum and a hall of fame gathering legends and ambassadors of motorcycling; h) the defense of the interests of motorcycling as well as those of the motorcycling community in the social, legal, and political spheres; i) and/or the implementation of social and environmental responsibility programs and charitable and humanitarian projects related to the promotion and development of motorcycling. To achieve its objectives, the Foundation may undertake any activity, temporary or permanent, directly or indirectly related to achieving these objectives, and cooperate with any authority or third party. To achieve its purposes, the Foundation may conclude any contract, acquire and transfer any rights, movable and immovable property, of any nature, in any country, for consideration or free of charge. It may entrust the execution of all or part of its activities to third parties. The Foundation may act as a hosting foundation and establish dedicated funds to enable its donors to support specific projects that fall within the foundation's purpose. The regulations of the hosted funds (as well as any subsequent amendments) are subject to the supervisory authority.
