To undertake the restoration of the Rectorate building, preserving or restoring its historic appearance in accordance with the research conducted and the instructions of the Cantonal and Federal Services for Historic Monuments and Site Protection; to enhance the restored building by creating a cultural and information center, primarily promoting the activities of the Village du Livre, giving priority to the allocation of premises according to the founders' expressed will, and subsequently also promoting the Vieux-Village and the Romanesque Church of St-Pierre-de-Clages. To achieve these objectives, the foundation will arrange premises to serve as reception rooms, temporary or permanent exhibition spaces in the service of art and culture, particularly through the development and promotion of books and printing, graphic arts, and painting. The Rectorate's cellars can be arranged to create a convivial space that also showcases local products.
