The foundation's purposes are: the acquisition, conservation and expansion of a unique collection of books, comprising several thousand different editions of Saint-Exupéry's Little Prince, some of which are unique and very precious, as well as books and other documents related to the work of this author; the promotion of this work through the creation of new translations and publications; this activity may in no case be commercial, the foundation may not act as a publisher; the maintenance and guarantee of public access to this collection via the internet or any other suitable means; in particular, the foundation will ensure the accessibility of the collection to researchers, Swiss or foreign; it may also make all or part of the collection available, subject to sufficient guarantees regarding its preservation, in the context of exhibitions dedicated to the work of Saint-Exupéry; participation in events related to the promotion of Saint-Exupéry's work and the exchange of information for the same purpose.
