The Foundation's purpose is to provide for the employees of the Founder. It may, in particular: a. take over all or part of the regulatory contributions owed by employees to the pension fund in favor of the Founder's employees; b. make allocations intended to increase the employees' pension benefits within the pension fund in favor of the Founder's employees. The Foundation may also assist the employees and retirees of the Founder, including those who have benefited from early retirement, as well as, in the event of death, the surviving spouses, descendants, and other persons whom the employee or retiree was supporting, in coping with the economic consequences resulting from old age, disability, and death by granting them relief benefits in case of economic distress. Under no circumstances may the Foundation assume obligations that are legally incumbent on the Founder, nor make payments that have the character of work remuneration or a similar aspect. The beneficiaries may not assert any claims against the Founder other than those recognized by decisions made by the Foundation Board, regulations, or legal provisions.
