The Association is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization, founded with the objective of:
1. Promoting, protecting, and defending human rights in Switzerland and around the world, in respect of the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law and human rights treaties.
2. Providing concrete, moral, and material support to children who are victims of war crimes, persecutions, armed violence, or humanitarian disasters, regardless of their nationality, religion, ethnicity, or social condition.
3. Organizing and promoting distance adoption programs, ensuring continuous support for the well-being, education, nutrition, and healthcare of the most vulnerable minors.
4. Implementing humanitarian, health, educational, cultural, and psychosocial projects in contexts affected by wars, military occupations, famines, or other humanitarian emergencies.
5. Providing legal assistance, documentation, and support to victims of human rights violations, also in collaboration with lawyers, NGOs, institutions, and international bodies.
6. Supporting and promoting legislative initiatives, civic campaigns, popular petitions, and legal actions aimed at strengthening respect for international law and the fight against impunity for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other serious violations of fundamental rights.
7. Raising public awareness through information, education, communication, and advocacy activities, also by producing audiovisual materials, publications, cultural events, and media interventions.
8. Collaborating with entities, associations, religious, educational, and social institutions that share the same values, both in Switzerland and abroad, to create a supportive and coordinated network for the benefit of victims.
9. Encouraging the active participation of civil society, promoting volunteering, social responsibility, and direct involvement of people in projects of justice and international solidarity.
