Gaden Phodrang Foundation of the Dalai Lama

The foundation aims to maintain and support the tradition and institution of the Dalai Lama with regard to the religious and spiritual tasks of the Dalai Lama. Furthermore, the foundation aims to promote the values and tasks to which His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, is committed, in particular, but not exclusively, these are: promoting fundamental human values; promoting better understanding and harmony between world religions; promoting peace and the principle of non-violence; protecting the environment; promoting dialogue between science and religion to provide mutual insight. Finally, the foundation aims to promote and maintain Tibetan culture and support the Tibetan people, as well as other people in need, regardless of nationality, religion, and origin. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
