a) Association of vegetable producers and related individuals and institutions from the canton of Zurich and surrounding areas; b) Safeguarding and promoting all common professional interests vis-à-vis cantonal authorities, the regional trust office for vegetables, regional trade and consumers; c) Striving for uniform wage and working conditions; in particular by safeguarding employer interests vis-à-vis authorities and employee organizations through cooperative guidelines; d) Purchasing all raw materials and supplies required for production and their cost-effective distribution to production facilities; e) Enhancing quality production and striving for the most favorable sales opportunities for all products of member companies through suitable measures and through corresponding promotion and cooperation with the cantonal central office for vegetable cultivation; f) Promoting the sale of products from member companies through propaganda campaigns, exhibitions, etc.; g) Combating unfair competition; h) Conducting lectures, specialist courses, and inspections for the further education and professional development of members and their employees; i) Fostering camaraderie and care among members; j) Affiliation with other economic associations and organizations to jointly realize the professional interests of members; k) Promoting and supporting the Association of Swiss Vegetable Producers (VSGP) as a member; l) Acquisition and disposal of properties and businesses as well as participations therein in the interest of the cooperative and its members.
