The cooperative aims to provide and maintain good and affordable housing in the inner Mattertal region to local households with limited income, in a spirit of mutual self-help and without speculative intentions. The cooperative rents out affordable housing according to the needs of the tenants and aims to contribute to a balanced population structure in properties, neighborhoods, and municipalities, as well as to increase the attractiveness of the labor market in the inner Mattertal region. A rental regulation governs the details. The cooperative can rent, acquire, manage, and administer properties and apartments for the purpose of renting out affordable housing, maintain and renovate them as needed, acquire land and building rights, and construct new buildings. To this end, it can claim public-law funding, take out mortgage and other loans, and conduct other purposeful legal transactions. The residential units managed by the cooperative may not exceed one-third in the municipality of Täsch. The board of directors determines the implementation of this principle. The cooperative can sublet non-residential areas such as commercial spaces, parking spaces, etc. in available properties at market conditions. It can participate in or join organizations and companies with similar or identical goals. The properties, buildings, and apartments owned by the cooperative are fundamentally non-transferable. In the event of important reasons, the general assembly decides on a sale or the granting of independent building rights. The cooperative members are each entitled to a right of first refusal at a reasonable price.
