The Company may, in particular, use its funds for the creation, management, development, enhancement and liquidation of a portfolio consisting of all securities, patents of any origin, participate in the creation, development and control of any company, acquire by way of contribution, subscription, firm purchase or option to purchase and in any other manner, all securities and patents. The Company may borrow in any form. The Company may, within the limits set by law, grant any assistance, loans, advances or guarantees to any group company or shareholder. In the course of its business, the Company may grant mortgages, borrow with or without guarantee or provide guarantees for other legal entities and individuals, subject to the applicable legal provisions. The Company will take all measures to protect its rights and carry out all operations generally, which are directly or indirectly related to its purpose or which promote its development or expansion. The Company may participate in the financing, in particular by providing guarantees and securities of all kinds, of other entities of the group to which the Company belongs, in the interest of the said group, and establish branches or found subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad.
