HISTORIAV

The association aims to reconstruct and make accessible in the long term the diversity of audiovisual production technologies and forms of perception through the preservation and digitization of media-archaeological collections and information on historical devices, techniques, and media arrangements. The goal is to create opportunities for research and teaching in film studies to combine academic research and teaching with practical expertise in historical techniques and procedures in the AV field. Furthermore, the association promotes measures to make this knowledge available to a broader public for dissemination in schools and educational institutions.
