HRO Stiftung

The purpose of the foundation is to preserve and support Zurich's traditions, particularly in connection with the Zurich Sechseläuten; to acquire, preserve and support Zurich's cultural assets, particularly in the areas of shipping, guild houses and the like; to support young people in their sporting activities, particularly in sailing and especially those young people who are hindered in such activities due to physical or financial constraints. In implementation of the foundation's purpose, financial contributions are made to tax-exempt institutions or projects that have a charitable character. The foundation pursues no political or economic goals and serves neither commercial nor self-help purposes.
