IDEAS (Schweiz)

Promotion of quality, transparency and general acceptance of development cooperation. This is done on the basis of the IDEAS Charter by planning, implementing and evaluating cooperation activities in the application of its own and new concepts; planning, implementing and evaluating an independent review ("audit") of activities with development policy objectives, in particular development cooperation; conducting an appropriate discussion of the audit results with affected institutions and higher authorities; informing members and the public about its activities; appropriate documentation of findings and experiences; other projects whose implementation is conducive to the IDEAS Charter.
