The company's purpose is to carry out all activities in the areas of: upstream, midstream and downstream activities in the oil and gas sector; generation, conversion, transportation and storage of electricity and heat from renewable energy sources (solar and wind energy, geothermal energy, biomass, etc.) as well as their distribution; solutions for greenhouse gases, including carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen and energy efficiency; new technologies and solutions in the above-mentioned industrial sectors; trading and financing activities related to the above-mentioned industries as well as mining. The company may also carry out all commercial, securities and financial transactions for itself or for third parties that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose and promote its development, in whatever form, in particular in the form of participations, with the exception of participations in real estate subject to the Swiss Federal Property Law. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, as well as found or acquire companies with a similar or complementary purpose.
