The Kurdish Institute of Lausanne aims to: 1. Establish a Kurdish research and documentation center in Lausanne 2. Work for the protection and development of the Kurdish language 3. Open Kurdish language courses 4. Ensure the translation of Swiss historical and literary works into Kurdish 5. Organize reading groups in Kurdish and Swiss languages 6. Organize conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops 7. Develop relationships with cantonal and communal educational institutions and universities 8. Create a Kurdish library in Lausanne 9. Create digital academies 10. Support academics, researchers, and doctoral students 11. Establish the necessary infrastructure for the creation of a university under the name of European Kurdish University (EKU) in the future 12. Work to better contribute to the resolution of integration problems of Kurds and strengthen dialogue and rapprochement between Kurds and other communities 13. Collaborate with other Kurdish organizations in the country 14. Promote the formation of a Kurdish intellectual union worldwide 15. Inform the global public opinion about the historical, cultural, social, and political dimensions of the Kurdish cause, known as the Kurdish question.
