Institut Lavigerie

1) to spread the Gospel, promote the training of missionaries; provide them with aid, advice and assistance in legal, administrative and financial matters, both in Switzerland and abroad; 2) it also has a public utility purpose, serving to economically support its philanthropic works, such as attributing to the construction and maintenance of churches, schools, orphanages, hospitals and fighting against famine, natural disasters, and also helping orphans and refugees; 3) to provide the Society of African Missionaries (White Fathers) with aid, advice and assistance in legal, administrative and financial matters in order to develop its works both in Switzerland and abroad (cf. statutes for complete purpose).
