The association aims to promote, preserve, and advance musical quality worldwide through a human-centered, emotionally engaging, and health-promoting consumption and practice of music, particularly in the age of artificial intelligence, automation, and increasing cultural standardization. The association pursues this purpose, in particular, through:
- Promoting quality in music through human talents, artists, and musicians;
- Fostering interpretive depth as a central element of musical expressiveness;
- Scientifically examining the impact of music on human well-being;
- Advocating for and co-shaping ethical frameworks for new technologies in the music sector;
- Developing quality standards and certification approaches for institutions, performances, and music education;
- Disseminating knowledge through educational initiatives, forums, publications, and international partnerships;
- Networking experts from music, science, technology, and society to promote cultural diversity and excellence.
The association is politically and denominationally neutral, does not pursue commercial purposes, and does not aim to make a profit. All funds are used exclusively in accordance with the association's purpose.
