The foundation aims to enable capable and motivated individuals, primarily of Swiss origin, and in justified exceptional cases also individuals of foreign origin, who lack sufficient financial support and resources, to access education, training, further education and retraining. The foundation may also support domestic or, in exceptional cases, foreign institutions that pursue the same or similar purposes. The foundation is non-profit and does not seek to make a profit.
