Supported in the field of cardiovascular diseases: research, training and further education, detection (diagnosis) and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, quality assurance programs, networked care services for improved patient care, public relations within the framework of sponsored projects. The funding can relate to individuals and institutions. It includes both one-time contributions and recurring support within the framework of longer-term programs. With the support of the foundation, improved infrastructural (material and personnel) conditions are to be created in the mentioned areas, processes improved, and new solution approaches for existing deficiencies developed.
