The foundation's purpose is: Firstly, to support and generally facilitate the well-being of women with or without disabilities in retirement age residing in the city of Bern by providing contributions to cover their general living expenses. The foundation may also cover extraordinary costs not covered by social insurance or social assistance. Secondly, to provide contributions to women residing in the city of Bern who have not yet reached retirement age for: financing extraordinary costs not covered by social insurance or social assistance; financing reintegration measures; enabling education, further education or retraining by covering costs not covered by social insurance or social assistance; and financing relief vacations for the woman being supported or her relatives.
