Max Geldner-Stiftung

The foundation aims (1) to promote the Kunstmuseum Basel by providing contributions to the Kunstmuseum Basel for the purchase of paintings that are particularly desired to supplement and enrich the public art collection; (2) to promote the University of Basel (a) by providing contributions to the University of Basel and to projects of the law, philosophy-history, and economics faculties; (b) by providing contributions to suitable academics of Swiss nationality to enable them to pursue an academic career at the University of Basel; (3) to support Basel-based non-profit institutions.
