The company's purpose is to study, develop, engineer, produce and market innovative products and services with high technological value in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical field, and in particular, to study, develop, conduct clinical and preclinical research, engineer, produce and market innovative pharmacological treatments for cancer, primarily focused on pharmaceutical products derived from bacteria present in the intestinal microbiota and targeting any type of physiological and pathological condition. The company may carry out research and development activities, identification, production, manufacturing, verification, approval, scale-up, clinical trials and marketing of medicines and pharmaceutical products, nutraceuticals, novel foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements for human, veterinary and plant use, as well as develop research and development lines for other types of oncological, immune, dysbiosis or pathological conditions in general. It aims to attract funds from public tenders and/or grants as well as from private financiers and venture capitalists. The company may also, in a non-prevalent but instrumental manner to the pursuit of its social purpose, carry out all commercial, industrial and real estate operations, and furthermore - with the exclusion of any operation carried out by and with the public - may also carry out financial and securities operations useful or opportune for the performance of the activities connected with the aforementioned primary purpose. The company, within the limits set forth above, may in particular carry out operations: of financing from the passive side, also through the stipulation of loan contracts with the concession of real guarantees on its own real estate assets; of opening current account bank relationships; having as their object the granting of sureties with predetermined maximum guarantee limits; of endorsements, guarantees in general, also real, in favor of anyone, both in the interest of the company and of third parties; of assumption, for the purpose of stable investment and not for the purpose of placement with the public, direct and indirect, of interests and/or participation quotas in other Swiss or foreign companies, established or to be established, as well as the creation of branches with similar or analogous purposes to its own.
