The foundation aims to create, generate, and be responsible for conditions that increase visibility, respect, and fairness for innovations, products, works, and economic and scientific projects operated and held by African and Black people. In this context, the foundation places Africa, Black people, and African people at the center of its activities. It communicates freely from postcolonial and discriminatory rhetoric and rejects exoticizing imagery. The foundation acts to create equal opportunities and to address socio-economic inequalities and poverty in all its forms. To fulfill this purpose, the MOA Foundation is dedicated to promoting innovations, products, projects, works, and economic and scientific projects operated and held by African and Black people. Additionally, the foundation is committed to the inclusive empowerment of Black and African people, regardless of their place of residence, age, gender identity, sexuality, religious beliefs, or origin. In the sense of fulfilling the purpose of the MOA Foundation, being Black is not defined by skin color but by self-identification, based on one's own ancestry. The foundation is non-profit and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
