One Arctic

The association aims to promote the ideological and financial support of art and culture of the polar peoples with the goal of making contemporary art of the polar region internationally better known, contributing to the preservation of the diversity of cultures, and improving understanding of global environmental interrelationships by providing insights into their way of life and their new climate-related challenges. It can also be active in other areas such as medicine or archaeology within the framework of this objective. Within the framework of this purpose, the association also manages the publicly accessible Museum of Contemporary Circumpolar Art, a museum for art from the polar circle.
