The association's goal is to develop, test and promote cellular and wireless communication solutions, support future global 6G research directions and their standardization, and accelerate their availability and global market penetration to meet the requirements of society for connected mobility and industry in terms of future applications such as advanced autonomous driving, advanced manufacturing, advanced wireless e-health applications and others. The association is particularly and without limitation concerned with these topics: defining and harmonizing use cases; developing a strategy for selecting technologies and further developing the action plan, including frequency allocation requirements; identifying regulatory aspects; addressing the challenges of 6G connectivity, data processing, energy consumption and communication, including wireless and cellular access networks, security, trustworthy handling, functional safety, privacy protection, authentication, distribution cloud architecture, technology interconnections, radio technologies, protocols and data format principles; and conducting joint innovation and development activities with the aim of integrated solutions, validation, verification and testing. The association's successes and results will be made publicly available. The association may take all measures that are directly or indirectly useful, suitable and conducive to the aforementioned goals.
