The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of the founding company and companies economically or financially closely linked to the founding company, as well as for the relatives and survivors of the employees against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability. The affiliation of an economically or financially closely linked company is made on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support services in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability and unemployment. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
