The foundation aims to: promote and support scientific research in the field of transformative psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and scientific exploration of human consciousness (in particular, research approaches and basic research with psychoactive substances); promote nature, animal, and environmental protection; promote development aid, particularly in the indigenous regions of origin of the natural elements used in scientific research in the field of transformative psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can financially, personally, or otherwise support existing and/or new public universities and public educational and research institutions or projects; promote public understanding and information about the foundation's purpose in an appropriate manner, for example, by conducting (non-profit, but cost-covering) seminars and courses; participate in a company, provided that the company does not influence the management and business activities of the foundation and all donations from this undertaking are used exclusively for the predefined non-profit purposes. The promotion of efforts in scientific research, nature conservation, and development aid in the sense of the foundation's purpose is the primary focus; collaborate with other non-profit institutions and aid organizations. The foundation is authorized to acquire properties, take out loans, and make capital investments, provided that all resulting income is used for the aforementioned non-profit purposes. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose or profit. A change of purpose can be requested from the supervisory authority at the earliest five years after the foundation's establishment. The foundation operates within the scope of its purpose both domestically and internationally and can acquire the necessary means to do so.
