The association aims to promote and maintain the Islamic faith and Albanian culture. It supports its members in their integration into the Swiss cultural environment. The association pursues its purpose through the organization of religious services, prayers and cultural events, the provision of religious education and Islamic doctrine, the operation of a library with faith-specific literature, as well as the maintenance and promotion of contacts among members and with representatives of the faith and associations with similar purposes. The association is not economically active or profit-oriented. To fulfill its tasks, the association may acquire real estate and commission or employ persons against payment.
