The foundation aims to promote animal welfare, with a particular focus on domestic and farm animals. In particular, the foundation aims to provide old and/or sick horses and other equines with suitable accommodation and care. It also promotes responsible and modern handling of horses and other equines. Furthermore, it supports research activities in the field of animal-friendly husbandry, especially for horses and other equines. Additionally, it contributes to the re-evaluation of traditional forms of husbandry, training and use, where changing social conditions and new scientific findings require a rethinking of these practices.
