Schmid-Stiftung

The foundation financially supports orphans, half-orphans and other children from financially disadvantaged families in practicing various sports. The foundation provides financial assistance in acquiring equipment for practicing various sports. It can take over membership fees for sports clubs. Financing or co-financing of sports camps is also possible. Reimbursement of travel expenses for participating in training camps and sports events is also provided. The foundation can also financially support other foundations and institutions that pursue a similar purpose. The scope of activity is primarily intended for the Basel area, but expansion to the rest of Switzerland is also possible.
