Secure EFTPOS Network Association

The purpose of the association is to establish and regulate a resilient and secure network infrastructure (SEPN) for cashless payment transactions based on the SCION and ep2 standard. Through joint coordination, specification, further development and monitoring of technical and regulatory framework conditions, the association aims to increase infrastructural resilience, particularly in national crisis situations, and strengthen public trust in cashless payment transactions at the point of sale (EFTPOS). The «Secure EFTPOS Network Association» is committed to data protection, network and failure security, as well as reliability in digital payment transactions. To this end, the association may take measures and conclude legal transactions that are necessary to fulfill its tasks. The achievement of profit is excluded.
